Artizan George Street was set up in 1995, by Matt Carr and Rob Cartwright, along with Philip Thompson and Max Bennett from Artizan Bartlett Street. Both Matt and Rob had worked at the Bartlett Street salon and had years of experience in all aspects of hair design and managing salons.
Both salons work very closely together, and organise their salon training as one. In the recent past, Artizan George Street has been short listed for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy. The Salon keeps on growing and developing, with its team of loyal staff, which keep it moving from strength to strength.

Matt says, "We came second, but the winning shot was fantastic - just being nominated in the finals for the South West and Midlands was a great achievement in itself."
